It looks like this Pub had a big night last night, but really it is just standard practice to line up all the empty kegs outside. If this was in America, and there was a college nearby, this stack would eventually turn into 1 keg.

Politics in Belfast

Sad to see that there is still a huge division between the Catholics & Protestants, even after the Good Friday Peace Accord was signed by both sides in 98. When we were in Belfast, a riot broke out between the Loyalists & Catholics. We did not see any fighting, but we saw the helicopters circling the area as the police were searching houses for weapons. Apparently the rioting got pretty bad the week following our visit.

Driving Around The Ring of Kerry

Driving on the left-hand side of the road of the Ring Of Kerry. I noticed that it is easier to drift to the left side of the road without realizing it. I only slightly scraped the left side of the car once, but at least the rear-view mirror stayed intact :)

Neighbors

Kesh (from MV office), Tejal (his wife), Sathy & I all live in the same complex and are partners in crime. We take turns making each other meals, adventuring on weekend trips, trying out really expensive & not so good restaurants in dublin, etc!

MMM...Boiled Pigs Blood

Kesh's First Irish Breakfast! Black (congealed pig's blood cooked with meat, fat, oatmeal & more) & White Pudding, eggs, sausage and more...a real treat for your heart!

Kinsale, West Cork

This small town is really colorful & known for their gourmet seafood dinners. Kesh & I had 1 of the most amazing seafood meals of our lives, which resulted in one of my worst cases of food poisoning ever! I thought I was dying, but I am ok now and at least the food tasted good!

A seaside town with islands off the mainland...Kesh (co-worker) & I were too hung-over to get on a boat to the islands, but the view from the Pub on the shore was spectacular :)

Hike Through Wicklow Mountains

Through the rain & wind, I hiked to the top. Sathy waited at the bottom cursing my name & wondering what the hell we were doing outside!
